WAYANAD LANDSLIDE EMERGENCY RELIEF
Wayanad is a small hill station in the state of Kerala, India (which is our neighboring state) surrounded by several tea estates. Many people that live here are people from other states who travelled as laborers to work in the tea estates to make a small living.
It has been torrentially raining in south India for the last 3 weeks and this Wayanad is one of the most affected locations of all. It was a very normal day for all the people living here and everyone went to sleep. And it was around midnight and everyone in this small hill station was asleep. In the blink of an eye, there was a huge landslide everywhere and people were buried deep under the sand and mud and a few hundred were swept away in minutes by the strong forces of landslides.
On behalf of our charity, we would like to help with the rescue and emergency food, water and blankets distribution to the victims in this landslide. We request you to kindly consider this emergency request and extend most precious support to help fellow ones in their most dire needs.
